A clinic in New York City is actively seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Internal / Family Medicine Physician to join their staff. About the Opportunity Specialty: Primary Care Patient Population/Volume: Mainly adults Hours : Monday through Friday, 4 days of clinical work and 1 day administrative; no weekends. Responsibilities The Internal / Family Medicine Physician: Performs history and physical assessments Provides services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice Develops a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits Makes referrals as indicated by the needs of the patient Communicates with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment, and plan for the patient either verbally and/or through documentation in the medical record Maintains current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient Qualifications Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York Board eligible / certified
